In this heartfelt and witty letter from Bob the Writing Cat, readers are reminded that simply making it through the day is enough. With his signature cranky charm, Bob honors the quiet strength of those still showing up...exhausted, overwhelmed, but present. A moving reminder that surviving is its own kind of bravery.
Dearest Bob.. you always brighten my day.. & make me feel like I am doing OK with your approval... ♥♥ Love this picture of you looking out the door.... Many hugs ♥♥♥♥
I really needed to read this! I am just making it through and hoping it is the best! It is the best that I can do and that is all that matters. Love you Bob
I’m also being held up by two lovely felines. I’m sure I don’t give enough ear scratches and chin rubs too. They are so patient with me and their 90 pound brother, the chaser of any sound or sunbeam that moves too quickly.
I’ve been slightly crazy from this past winter and am only now regaining a few brain cells. Attempting to reconnect them to work as a proper team. A few are still awakening from their frozen state. Begging me to move back South.
The kitties are nesting on unsorted summer clothes, wearable only 45 more days. Then it will be time for the Fall clothing to make an entrance. Then the dreaded winter clothing for eight months of survival. Of course no one but the cats and dogs see the winter duds because they are always covered in layers of coats and survival gear!
I am amazed that the 4 to 6 outdoor cats dropped off outside, because I have property and a small barn, survived the -60 degree windchill winter. No survival gear, just what they were born with. And now a healthy distrust of any human. Thy are running through the fields now, catching birds and being cats. I hope they were fixed!
Perfectly put as always. I needed to hear that today🥰
