My Dearest Friends on the Internet,
If you're barely keeping the wheels on the wagon right now, consider this your official recognition from Headquarters.
You are seen.
Because the truth is, it’s not easy being a human right now. The world is a tangled mess of chaos, noise, and tasks that somehow keep multiplying like a colony of overcaffeinated squirrels. And yet…here you are. Still showing up. Still feeding the pets. Still answering texts, doing the laundry, and wiping down the counters even though you just wiped them down ten minutes ago.
You might not be thriving. You might not even remember the last time you ate a vegetable. But you are here.
And I would like to say…formally and without sarcasm…that counts for a lot.
I watch The Woman sometimes. She tries so hard to keep things afloat. She still adds sprinkles to things when she’s sad. She still makes her weird little dolls and ties ribbons on candles and pets my ears like it fixes something (it does). And even though the world doesn't hand out gold stars for getting out of bed or washing your hair or not screaming at the news, I do.
I see every small act of resistance. Every mundane kindness. Every quiet, exhausted decision to just…keep going.
You are not invisible to me.
You don’t need to be fixed, polished, optimized, or turned into a productivity machine. You just need to be reminded that being is enough. That your presence is still a gift. That your very survival…right now…is its own form of rebellion.
So if all you did this week was exist, maybe cry a little, drink lukewarm coffee, and feed your cat on time…bravo.
You are absolutely crushing it.
And should anyone suggest otherwise, send them to me. I have claws. And opinions.
With quiet admiration,
Bob the Writing Cat

Aw, Bob, this is Bear's human. Thank you for recognizing the difficult times we are in. You are correct when you say some days being is enough.
