Dearest Bob ~ I found the Vile Beasts House Rules quite amusing, if not a bit unfair to The Woman. But I understand. And yes, I would miss all the antics and routines my kitties use to get more treats and love. I know they are spoiled but they don't feel that way. They feel they are royalty and deserve this treatment. I don't disagree! ❤️ 💋 😻

Dearest Bob, how right you are. These little things our beloved cats and dogs do are so loved and so missed when they are no longer with us. They brighten our day, make us laugh and smile, and just plain warms our hearts. Dear Bob - Oh how true these are!! Two of my cats stand at attention when they hear the toaster pop up - they must have their licks of butter. Before I can sit down to eat.
Bathroom door must be ajar for visitors to come in and drink out of their special water glass on the counter, even though there are several water dishes scattered around the entire house.
One of our cats absolutely shreds cardboard boxes all over the floor. This calls for daily sweeping once or twice a day. Some of the cardboard is actually scratching posts made for cats but they also get shredded…
Every household has pets with all of these quirks- and we would miss them if they weren’t happening anymore.
I just dog-sat my Great-grand-dog niece Sassy for a week. She was rescued from a bad situation, not fit for animal or human. She came with her little hut & her-3 blankets. So to settle in with her Auntie she checked out my blankets & slept in each one either on the couch or in my bed. She is a little Princess & weighs under 5-lbs. she wanted to eat people food, be wrapped up in a blanket carried around or sleep beside you on the couch & the bed. She loved walking out in the sun, but didn’t want to go potty when it rained. When she left it was just too quiet. I miss her little Zoomies & the barking when she heard strange noises outside. I’ve washed my 5-blankets to be ready for her to use when she comes back to visit, again. She was so happy to see her family, she got in a few happy Zoomies in to welcome them back.
We have similar rules in my house....I have escorts at times and Purrcila always needs to come to the bathroom with me in a minutes time we are joined by Bunny, Patrick, Jethro and. Craig. I have a small bathroom and it gets crowded in there....Amazon boxes are new scratching pads and that's where the catnip.party is...blankets ....well we live in the Panhandle of FLA so beach towels are better to cuddle on I guess so my blankets are mine......Tell the Lady she is GREAT and thanks
