The Catch-Up Day

Dearest friends on the internet,
THE WOMAN HAS DECLARED A “CATCH-UP DAY”.
This is a charming phrase humans use before creating fourteen new tasks. She began with three reasonable goals. Then she noticed a drawer. The drawer led to a closet. The closet reminded her of an email. The email inspired a list. The list required a new notebook.
By noon, she was surrounded by piles of junk, drinking cold coffee, and saying, “I’m making progress,” in the tone of someone attempting to negotiate her own release.
The vile beasts provided support. Cooper slept directly in her path. Daisy requested lunch…at 9:43 AM. Miss Frankie sat on top of the list.
From Heaven, I had no choice but to issue a mandatory Bob O’clock break.
The woman initially resisted, claiming she needed to finish “just one more thing.” This is how I know intervention was necessary. There will always be one more thing.
Sit down anyway.
Very truly yours,
Bob
