Dearest friends on the internet,
Today’s report comes to you from deep within the shady confines of my lair…also known as “beneath the covers on the woman’s bed”…where I’ve taken refuge from this sweltering heat. It’s pushing 100 degrees outside, and frankly, I find it offensive. The air is thick, the woman is shiny, and Daisy the Chihuahua smells vaguely of toast.
Despite the vile weather, I’m having a glorious day.
My morning began with a silver platter of Fancy Feast, a sprinkle of fresh nip from the garden, and a highly classified undercover meeting (details redacted). The agenda was full, mostly revolving around meditation and ignoring the woman.
But the biggest event of the day? The reappearance of Mr. Squirrel. Yes, that squirrel. The one I thought had perished and been laid to rest in the flower garden. Turns out, I was mistaken…or perhaps I’ve stumbled upon a squirrel conspiracy. Either way, he was on the screened-in porch this morning, smug and twitchy as ever.
I was delighted to see him alive. And deeply irritated. Naturally.
Now, onto more pressing matters…

Very truly yours,
Bob
Bob, Bear here, watch out for the heat. I live in Arizona, and it's 100 here today, and we call it cool. By the weekend we will be in true summer heat at about 110 or more. I have discovered that it is best to stay in and enjoy this thing called air conditioning. It keeps my house at a steady 78 no matter what the temperature is outside.
It's 100 degrees here, with a 112 heat index...I thank God for A/C...Bob stay cool and make sure everyone is drinking water to stay hydrated...Happy to hear that your friendly squirrel has shown up again...I'd stay cool under the covers of the Woman's bed and enjoy the A/C...😺😺😺😺
